Yoga for Mothers ~ A Mini Retreat
Mothering asks for a certain kind of giving, and in ways that few other things do. While mothering can without-a-doubt be one of the most rewarding things, it can also be depleting, especially without conscious time taken to decompress, process, and recharge. This class is as an invitation to come as you are, to relax, unwind, and be supported in the company of other mothers. This is an opportunity to prioritize yourself, allow your body to release stored tension, and connect with your Self.
The class format: We’ll start with a grounding and centering practice, then move through a slow, alignment-focused flow. The sequences are designed to warm the body, loosen tension, stretch, lengthen, and feel good. After this, we’ll spend a few minutes with journal prompts designed to help you connect with what’s most important for you right now. Then, we’ll relax into soothing restorative poses, followed by an extended savasana.
No experience necessary. Classes are trauma-informed and safe during pregnancy.
Price: $30
Location: TBD
Registration: Call, text or email me at (602) 653-8048 or sarah@sarahangelina.com
